NEW ETS Co-branding for "Pronunciation in American English" Multimedia CD-ROM
October 20, 2003 - Educational Testing Service® (ETS) has co-branded the interactive CD-ROM Pronunciation in American
English by Kathy L. Hans. The expanded relationship with ETS reflects continuing support for this effective training tool (selected
as a "Tool for TOEIC®" since '00). It places a new emphasis on this product going forward for other training applications within
the ETS® family of tests and services: Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)®, Test of English for International
Communication TOEIC®, TOEFL Academic Speaking Test (TAST)® and the Test of Spoken English (TSE)®.
The co-branding coincides with upcoming changes in the TOEFL® Test, which will include a speaking component in '05. Students can
start adjusting to the new TOEFL® by taking the TAST (available now at www.ets.org/ell).
"We are very proud to be able to continue our affiliation with ETS®" said Kathy L. Hans, the author of the program, "and we
welcome the new and expanded relationship." This product is immediately available from AmEnglish.com® at www.amenglish.com.
